Quality Control
We work to strict quality control procedures including material traceability, full job card routing and inspection as well as offering a range of optional services where required such as crack detection, balancing and other NDT techniques.
Material Traceability
Many of our customers require full material traceability. We have long standing relationships with material stockist's with the ability to source exotic materials and alloys where required. We can offer full certification with component ID engraving.
Job Routing
All work is associated with a job card that is attached to the job through out production. The Job Card details each process undertaken including milling and turning and inspection etc as well as third party services such as electroplating, gear cutting etc. Each stage is signed off by the engineer responsible which means that quality issues can be quickly tracked down.
Non-Destructive Testing
We supervise NDT where required including:
- Eddy Current
- Dye Penetrant
- Ultrasonic Inspection
Balancing
We carry out a number of jobs that require balancing of shafts and spindles which we sub out to third parties for quality control and fine tuning.
