Remanufacturing
We offer a full remanufacturing service for most types of metal components and small metal assemblies. Working from existing parts we can take measurements, determine material type and provide exact replicas complete with finishing, to specification.
Remanufacture Process
In general, the remanufacturing process is suited for the replacement of obsolete and hard to find parts, typically machinery components but also a wide range of other parts such as architectural fittings, structural components and general engineering products. The process typically involves:
- Inspection on arrival
- Disassembly
- Component testing
- Material selection
- Machining
- Finishing
- Re-assembly
- Testing and despatch
Typically we deal with simple components but occasionally we are required to dismantle quite large mechanical assemblies. This service is often closely related to our Component Repair service.
